The Muzzle Loading Discipline in SSAA involves competitive shooting with replica's of firearms used during Australia's colonial days. From Smooth Bore Matchlock muskets circa 1600's to Percussion Shotguns and Rifles circa 1830's, there is something for all historical firearms enthusiasts.

Perth Muzzle Loading Club is also home to the Perth Volunteer Rifle and Artillery Regiment.
