LEGISTLATION QUERIES UPDATE

A LOT of WA Firearms owners recently received another Email from WA Police/WA Govt on upcoming legislation changes that have sent EVERYONE into a Tail Spin.

Without a FULL Melt down the following IMPORTANT parts can be taken out of it:

* You can STILL Purchase and Licence a Firearm under the current system.
* The VOLUNTARY BUY BACK - is on until the end of this month.
* The NEW system will not come into line until Early 2025.
* The Regulations defining many of the finer points are still to be finalised.
* There are only 2 types of basic licenses for Individuals (as per the Act) - YES we know RECREATIONAL Shooting isn't in there.
* There will be new requirements for LAND OWNERS to give Authorities and Permissions for Firearm Owners.
* This system CURRENTLY isn't in effect.
* There are Firearms Limits to be imposed.
